1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the GodlyBond mobile application (the "App"), operated by GodlyBond. By creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3. Your Account & Couple Linking
- You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
- Linking with a partner via an invite code shares certain content between both accounts, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account.
4. Subscriptions & Billing
- GodlyBond offers a free tier and a paid subscription ("GodlyBond+") with additional features.
- Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store and renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in your device's App Store account settings.
- Prices are subject to change; we'll provide notice before any change takes effect for existing subscribers where required by law.
- Refunds are handled according to Apple's App Store policies, not directly by us.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of the content you and your partner add to the App (photos, notes, entries, and similar). By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display it back to you and your linked partner solely to operate the App's features.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or to harass, abuse, or harm another person.
- Attempt to access another user's account without authorization.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or interfere with the App's normal operation.
- Upload content that infringes someone else's rights or violates applicable law.
7. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, features, and branding, is owned by GodlyBond and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding beyond normal use of the App.
8. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Devotional content is offered for personal reflection and is not a substitute for pastoral counsel, professional therapy, or financial advice. We don't guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GodlyBond will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including any loss of data shared between linked accounts.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above, and continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
